Preview of Baby

So what do we think Baby Shafer will look like.... Here are some previews! Mom cleaned the washer yesterday before doing laundry for Baby Shafer, which appears to be a sign of nesting (because we all know that's not normal for her!)... any day now!

Diaper Party!

It was a Diaper Party to remember... with two entertaining games: guess what chocolate is melted in the diaper and chugging out of a baby bottle. You'll notice the soon to be dad is well on his way to fatherhood, sacrificing his beer chugging to try and catch the moment on video. Elizabeth created some great dirty diapers to analyze...Aunt Alyssa had to get up and close with the diaper to inspect consistency and odor before declaring her guess. The party was tons of fun... and of course ended in typical Shafer fashion, with an amazing game of Flip Cup on the deck :)

OSU Graduation

This weekend was one hot adventure to Columbus to see Aunt Alyssa graduate from OSU! With 90+ degree temps, Mom and Baby watched the ceremony from Panera on streaming broadcast on the laptop. Of course, we had to take a picture to prove it. :) Congrats Auntie Al!

The Pink Room!

Baby's Shafer's room is almost ready... filled with pink! She is excited about all the clothes her cousins have been so nice to share, and can't wait to put on all the cute dresses :) She's also excited to sleep through the night (Mom can dream) in her new crib from Pap and Grandma Vinciguerra after Mom (or Dad!) has rocked her to sleep in the cozy rocker from Pop-Pop and Grandma Shafer. You can also do a "Where's Jesse" in these pictures... she's still trying to figure out where her bed is! Only a few more weeks to go....
