Like Night and Day...

Having two little girls so close in age has changed my thinking entirely. I no longer believe as parents we have much influence over who our children are going to be, what they like or dislike, or how late they are going to sleep in the morning. They are who they are, and the quicker we learn that, the quicker we can all be more content and happy. Most recent example is their sleep habits. My little Lil took about a year to teach to fall asleep on her own. And we still struggle with it. She has never been one to just randomly fall asleep...instead she gets crankier and crankier...and will wake up early the next morning to remind us that she didn't sleep well and is still cranky. Now Carolyn on the other hand...at 5 months old, falls asleep at the dinner table :) She also never really gets cranky, she just falls asleep and wakes up with a smile on her face. But she's not all roses... she is the queen of blow-out poos!! (See below).

Coming to the West Side...

We have two lovely couples that are about to convert to Westsiders... they are still going through some classes, so we'll have to see if their passports are approved... but we're thinking since we wrote letters of recommendation, they should be in the clear.

But first... a few pictures of the girls :)

At the zoo.... it could be a weekly occurance when the weather's nice :)

And Organizing purses... Lilly is absolutely in LOVE with walking around the house with all her babies and purses...and bracelets. She is SUCH a girlie girl, and I have no idea where it is coming from!
