So many happenings!

Tons of fun stuff going on these days! There's a new cousin to play with and a new room dedicated to toys-- Lilly and Carolyn are in heaven :) We put our formal dining furniture in the basement and busted out the all time favorite toy-- a mini house. This, paired with the kitchen has created a room of pure happiness. Also creating pure happiness is little Madelyn. Not only does this mean Aunt Ashleigh can play during the week, but it also means that Lilly can lay on the floor and just watch her cousin-- who knew a toddler would enjoy that so much!

The official last meal before the house took over....

We went to the park with Aunt Asheligh and Madelyn and had so much fun! Carolyn and her aunt checked out the boys....

And Lilly played mommy to her baby doll with her own stroller... just like Aunt Ashleigh of course. We can't wait for more weekday fun!!

Super Bowl still fun with little ones!

Yes, we know that our beloved Steelers didn't do too well in the Super Bowl spotlight... but that doesn't mean that we didn't still have a great time! Carolyn got to meet Baby Madelyn, and Lilly gave her a special bunny that she picked out for her. And of course, Carolyn entertained us all by finishing a chicken leg all by herself :)

Simply Adorable. Do I even need to write anything?

Clearly, Lilly LOVES her new cousin, and can't wait to play with her. She's already growing big and strong, and soon enough she'll be boucing off the walls (probably too soon for Mom and Dad:))

I think Lilly stayed like this for 5 minutes or so, before we asked if her arms were getting tired. I think she would have stayed like this forever if we asked her to. What a great start to a wonderful life together as cousins.

And of course, we need to ask Carolyn how she feels about being kicked out of the "special newest baby spot"....this is what she had to say....

Mom and Baby are Doing Fine!

Kyle and Ashleigh are now a family of 3 :) Madelyn Sophia arrived at around 9:30pm yesterday, all 6pounds, 3oz of her. She is soooooooo tiny, but has the longest fingers and fingernails. Mom and Baby are great and hopefully all three of them survived the night well (with some help from the nurses I'm sure :)) Hopefully we can go visit today and sunggle with her some more!

Baby Kanski is coming!

Ashleigh's water broke at 3:00am and they headed down to the hospital around 9am, only 3cm so far, so it may need a little help, but full labor is coming and, Baby Kanski will have a birthday today! I believe it's a rule that after water breaks the baby has to come with-in 24 hours to avoid infection, so looks like it'll be a big day for Momma, Dad, and Baby! More news when it comes, but here's Lilly and Carolyn's celebration-- they've been singing Happy Birthday, but of course I only managed to get a bit on camera :)

Keeping Moms in Your Prayers

Late last week, my very good Friend Vicki lost one of her Best Friends to Cancer. Please take a minute and pray for Jeanne, Vicki's Mom, as she is greeted in Heaven, and that her family will always feel her presence from Above.


Probably, we should all give our Moms and Grandmas where ever they are on this earth or in Heaven, an extra moment or two of our day to think of them as well. For where would any of us be in life, without someone that was our best friend even when all we had to offer was stinky diapers and a smile :)
