Two years ago, early early in the morning, we went to the hospital because we thought my water may have broke, but thought we would get sent home. But just 4 hours later, the cutest little bundle was in my arms. I still remember thinking how wild it was that I was now a Mom, and Justin now a Dad...and I think it didn't quite hit me fully until Carolyn was born :)
But now my little bundle of joy is a skinny little toddler that is into EVERYTHING. She loves to eat icing off the cake, but not the cake itself. Her favorite food is Chipotle...especially their spicy guacamole! She can open doors and get into trouble in about 5 seconds, and loves to wrestle with Bailey the dog. She finally started talking, and loves to say up peeze (up please) and ju-cie (juice). She did learn to say her first swear word too unfortunately... saying "Sheit" when she dropped her apple at Panera. Aunt Ashleigh will be more than happy to tell the story :) She can also say everyone's names, just only when she feels like saying them. She hates to be dirty, but loves to explore outside and play on the swings and slides. Most of all, she loves to watch Dora the Explorer, which has replaced her love of the Wiggles (thank goodness!). She goes poo on the potty when she feels like it, but don't dare force the issue, or she may throw one of her amazing screaming fits, where she ends up on the floor sobbing and saying "ma ma ma ma" to anyone that will listen. She still LOVES her binki and blanket, and doesn't love to snuggle unless it's while watching Dora. Most of all, she has a nurturing little heart that loves to try and help and taking care of her baby dolls... it's just that her helping tends to undo everything I've done already :) We love her soooooo much and can't wait to see what's next for little Lil.
